We are asking for your help for life-saving heart surgery for Amiti Rebecca, the daughter of Mamadou Sissouma who’s part of the core team of Voice4Thought in Mali.
She was born in September 2019 with a serious heart condition called VSD (ventricular septal defect). It’s a hole in the wall that separates the heart’s lower chambers (ventricles).
The hole allows blood to pass from the left to the right side of the heart, mixing oxygenated blood with deoxygenated blood. The condition has a visible impact on her growth.The specialists’ advice is that she needs an operation as soon as possible.
However, this medical procedure is not available in Mali and she will need to be operated abroad. Sissouma’s medical insurance does not cover such an operation, and he does not have the means to pay for the procedure. That is why we decided to seek assistance within the network of friends of Voice4Thought. Do you want to contribute towards the healing of Amiti Rebecca?
Together we are trying to raise 12.000 euros for an preliminary ultrasound scan and the operation of the hole in Dakar (Senegal). Every contribution brings us one step closer to this life-saving surgery for Amiti.
